How Does Eyelid Surgery Work?
Blepharoplasty is performed by Dr. Menkes with the assistance of our highly-trained medical staff in our Medicare and AAAHC certified Outpatient Surgery Suite. Also, it allows the body to begin to heal the moment the surgery is complete. Furthermore, it is much safer and lessens bruising and swelling.
What To Expect During Eyelid Surgery
Treatment begins by identifying problem areas to get you into a proper position. You feel a firm but not uncomfortable tug as the device pulls tissue in. During treatment, an intense cold sensation develops. This feeling lasts only a few minutes before it diminishes. A CoolSculpting appointment in our Mountain View office lasts about an hour. Many patients pass the time listening to music, using their laptops, or dozing. Because CoolSculpting and CoolMini are non-invasive procedures, you may resume normal activities right away. Treated areas could feel numb or tingly, and may appear slightly red or bruised for several hours. Over time, the body processes destroyed fat cells, eliminating them through natural processes.
