This includes a primary focus on the three most common skin cancers found in human beings-Basal Cell Carcinoma, Squamous Cell Carcinoma and Melanoma. Dr. Menkes also performs Mohs Micrographic surgery for certain difficult skin cancers.

Surgical removal or treatments for warts, fatty tumors, moles and skin tags.

We offer a full array of the safest and most effective fillers available. These include Restylane, Perlane, and Juvederm™, all hyaluronic acid fillers. Where appropriate, we also use Radiesse, a calcium hydroxyappatite filler with long lasting results and Sculptra™, a poly L lactic acid volumizer which achieves natural-looking results.

Botox ®

At this point, the only such product available is Botox® Cosmetic. This effective substance is totally safe when injected in small amounts into carefully selected facial muscles. It relaxes wrinkles caused by muscle movement, such as frown lines, forehead lines and crow's feet.

Eyelid Rejuvenation

Eyelid surgery or blepharoplasty provides an effective alternative for treating sagging eyelids, fatty pouches beneath the eyes and excess skin from the upper eyelids. The procedure can be performed in the doctor's office and generally under local anesthesia.

Neck Lifting and Face Lifting

These procedures have been known to take years off a patient's appearance, especially with the natural looking results obtained by the 'vertical vector' repositioning of the skin practiced by Dr. Menkes.

Tumescent Liposculpture

This body contouring procedure removes stubborn and unwanted deposits of fat cells that even after dieting and exercise will not disappear. The great advantage of the tumescent technique is that it can be performed under local anesthesia for the added safety and comfort of the patient.

IPL Photorejuvenation

A quick, gentle non-evasive treatment, using broad-spectrum light, designed to restore sun-damaged skin, remove age spots, most benign brown pigments and redness caused by broken capillaries.

Fraxel

This laser treatment targets damaged skin by penetrating the skin's outermost layer and triggering the body's own natural production of new collagen and skin cells. The results include improved skin texture, tone and pore size.

Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal uses a low-energy laser to remove unwanted hair. A preferred technology over older and sometimes more painful methods such as removal creams, razors, wax or electrolysis, it delivers long-lasting and more satisfactory results.

Active FX

A laser procedure that uses a high-energy beam of light to smooth out wrinkles and scars and tighten the skin. Benefits include a single treatment with minimal patient downtime.

Max FX

A deeper resurfacing procedure than Active FX, it removes superficial layers of the skin, a valuable tool for treating a wide range of conditions, including wrinkles, aging or tired eyelids and acne scarring.

Bothersome and unsightly spider and varicose veins can often be treated with today's advanced laser technology. An alternative treatment, injection sclerotherapy, calls for the injection of a solution into the vein through a microneedle. This causes the vein to blanch, eventually disappear and produce effective results.

A treatment designed to improve the appearance of the skin on the neck, face and hands, chemical peels are also known as chemexfoliatioin and derma-peeling. A chemical agent is applied to the skin which causes it to blister and eventually peel off. The regenerated skin will often be smoother and less wrinkled.
